This article explains how HRIS direct employees can request and review their Time Off.
From the Profile tab on the home page, employees can review their approved Time Off history, and how many PTO days have already been used for the year.
You can only request time off after your start date.

How to Request Time Off
✅ Step 1 – Click Request Time Off
Select the Profile tab on your home page then click Request Time Off
✅ Step 2 – Fill out request details
Fill out the type of time off being requested (vacation, sick leave, etc.) and the dates.
Provide additional details if needed.
Click Request Time Off
The request is sent to the client for review and approval
✅ Step 3 – Client approves request
The status on your home page will say Waiting For Approval until the client reviews.
If the client approves the request, it will change to Approved.
If the client does not approve the time off request, the status will say Denied.
When the client approves the time off, you will receive a confirmation email from Deel.
You can also review the dates and details of the PTO from your employee home page, and make changes as necessary.
How to edit or cancel Time Off
✅ Step 1 – Click the time off that you want to edit
Select the Profile tab on your home page and you can see upcoming time off.
The status will say Waiting For Approval if the client hasn't approved the request.
Approved time off dates will say Approved.
Select the PTO dates that you want to amend.
✅ Step 2 – Click Edit
Click Edit to amend the dates or details of the time off.
Click Cancel Time Off if you wish to cancel the request entirely.
✅ Step 3 – Enter changes and then click Update Time Off
