We aim to be as transparent as possible while workers are completing their onboarding.
We make it easy for clients to stay updated on the onboarding status of their employees and contractors.
The Tracker card on the Deel home page, allows clients to see an overview of their workers' onboarding progress, and also identify missing tasks from their checklists.
By clicking on a worker, clients can view their onboarding checklist, including how many steps have been completed and how many are still pending. Clients can also send reminders to the worker to complete any missing steps.
The onboarding requirements will be different depending on whether the workers are:
Onboarding Updates:

After clicking on an employee's name, clients will see their Progress Overview.
If a worker is not yet onboarded, clients can see:
- How many onboarding tasks are still missing
- How and when Deel send reminders to the email about their missing
- Deadline date for tasks to be completed in order to be onboarded by the targeted start date
Clients can also select the Onboarding Checklist tab to see specifically what tasks are completed or missing.
If clients need assistance during EOR onboarding, they can access Deel support by navigating to the Worker's profile from the onboarding tracker. Select Get Help From HR Team next to the worker's profile. There, clients will be able to provide details on their support request. Deel support will respond within 24 hours.
[ACCORDION] Global Payroll direct employees
Click on an employee's name to see their Progress Overview.
If the employee is at risk of missing their first payroll or has already missed payroll, click Send Reminder. Deel will send them an email.
Clients can also reach out directly to the worker for an update.
Clients can also select the Onboarding Checklist tab to see specifically what tasks are completed or missing.
[ACCORDION] Deel HR direct employees
Click on an employee's name to see their Onboarding Checklist and how many tasks are still missing.
Please note that a Deel HR direct employee can't have an At Risk status, because there is no start date.
[ACCORDION] Contractors
Click on a contractor's name to see their progress in the Onboarding Checklist. Clients will be able to see specifics on what tasks are completed or missing.
If the contractor has not completed the onboarding steps, click Send Reminder. Deel will send them an email.

[ACCORDION] How can clients export onboarding tracker reports?
In the onboarding tracker, click on the three vertical dots beside Bulk Action. Select Export Worker Information followed by Download Report on the next screen.
