This guide explains how clients can view and manage an employee’s visa assessment and application through the Deel platform in a few simple steps.
✅ Step 1 - Log In
From the Deel website, click Log In.
✅ Step 2 - Review and Sign the Master Service Agreement
Select the People tab on your home page and select the Employee.
On the employee’s overview page, you will find the quote and master service agreement available from the Deel group. You must review and sign this agreement before we begin the employee visa assessment.
✅ Step 3 - Employee Signs Up to Deel
Once you've signed the agreement, we will send your employee an email invitation to sign up to Deel.
✅ Step 4 - Employee confirms Visa Information
Your employee will need to create their Deel account and complete the onboarding checklist, which will include reviewing their visa assessment information.
If you pre-filled information when you created the EOR contract, your employee will be able to find it on the assessment.
Your employee will be asked about their current country of residence, their citizenship, their highest level of education, and how many dependents would need a visa. They will also have the option to add their LinkedIn profile or any additional information.
Once done, your employee can review and submit their application.
✅ Step 5 - Receive the Quote
Once your employee has submitted their visa information, Deel is going to review it and will then get in touch with you about the outcome.
If your employee is eligible for a visa in the country of choice, we will present you with a quote that will include the timelines, the type of visa, and the next steps of the employee's visa application.
Click on Tracker (1) and Visa Applications (2) and you will see the employee and that their status has changed to awaiting quote approval .
✅ Step 6 - Review the Quote
To review the quote, click on the button with your employee’s name (1) and Review (2).
In the quote, you will also find the costs per employee and dependents (if any), and any other costs to be paid such as documentation or government fees. At this stage, you will also need to review the terms and conditions.
✅ Step 6 - Receive your Invoice
If you’re happy with the quote and have approved it, we will create an invoice for you. We need you to make the payment on this invoice for us to then begin the employee's visa application.
To make the payment, click on View Invoice and you will be redirected to our payment portal.
✅ Step 7 - Next Steps
In the Tracker, you will see now that the status of your employee’s visa application has changed to in progress. You can also see additional immigration information in the tracker such as:
- Work permit documents;
- Type of visa;
- Expiration date;
- Costs associated with the employee and
- Outstanding immigration quotes, if any.
This means that we're working on the visa application and as soon as that's complete, we'll submit the application to the relevant authorities. We will keep you and your employee informed and once the visa is complete, it will be sent to the employee.
