This article explains how Global Payroll clients can create and save a customized template for adding employees in the Global Payroll or Deel HR model.
✅ Step 1 – Create document
Select Organization Settings on your home page and click the upper Document Management. Then click Create Document.
Select Create Custom Employee Agreement and click continue.
✅ Step 2 – Create custom Employee Agreement template
First, name and describe the template for future use, and add any optional tags for easier reference.
Then click Create Template.
✅ Step 3 – Add customized variables
You can include dozens of customizable variables in your new Employee Agreement template.
Variables include job title, seniority, start date, annual salary, annual vacation days policy, vacation accrual start date, and many more.
You can click to add a placeholder, and it will appear where you placed the cursor in the editor.
These variables will be auto-filled when you select this template to create a employee contract, using the information provided for the new employee.
Click Save to save updates to the template. Then click Continue when finished.
✅ Step 4 – Select Custom EA during contract creation
Your agreement template has been successfully created! You can view it in Organization Settings under your custom document repository.
You can now use this template to hire new direct employees during the Add People / Create Contract process when you arrive at the Employee Agreement step.
Select the custom agreement that you wish to use for the new direct employe.
