This article explains how EOR employees and Global Payroll direct employees can add up to 5 bank accounts on their Deel accounts, and split their salary distribution between those accounts.
Splitting salary between multiple accounts may be useful for employees that use different bank accounts to pay bills, build savings, or handle expenses and taxes.

✅ Step 1 - Add bank account
Select the Bank Details tab on your home page and click Add Bank Account.
Enter the bank account location and currency for the payment.

✅ Step 2 - Add account details
Enter details like the account number, bank name, and account type.
✅ Step 3 - Add personal information
You'll enter your name, address, and contact information.
Your name must be your full name as it appears on your bank account.
Please make sure the address you enter is the same address that is registered with your bank.
✅ Step 4 - Save account
You can give the account a custom name that will appear on Deel.
Review your account details and then click Save.
How to split salary between bank accounts
✅ Step 1 - Edit salary payment settings
Select (1) Bank Details on your home page and then select (2) Edit Payment settings to amend your salary distribution.
✅ Step 2 - Split your salary payment
Change the percentage amount of your salary you want to receive between your bank accounts.
The summary box will explain the percentage distribution and when the changes will become effective.

FAQs
[ACCORDION] What if the cut-off date has already passed?
If the cut-off date for the current payroll cycle has passed, your changes will go into effect from the following cycle.
You will see on the platform the payroll cycle dates from which your changes will go into effect.
[ACCORDION] Can I enter a specific numerical amount into an account instead of a percentage?
No, you can only distribute your salary between multiple accounts using percentages.
[ACCORDION] What is the minimum percentage amount I can enter?
The minimum amount is 1% for an account. Decimals are not allowed.
[ACCORDION] Will my client know how I distribute my salary?
No. Your client will not know if your salary is deposited into one account or split among multiple bank accounts.
[ACCORDION] Can I add a bank account from a different country than where I work?
Yes, it is possible to add an international account that is from a bank in a different country than your contract employment country.
But please note, using an international account may result in unknown delays in receiving your salary, foreign exchange rates, and third party processing fees that we can not control or predict.
You must manually confirm that you are aware of this possibility and wish to continue using an international account.
