Integrating HiBob with Deel Global Payroll requires setting up specific permissions for a Service User. This article shows how to ensure the Service User is properly configured with the necessary permissions.
✅ Step 1: Record the Service User’s Name
Note down the name of the Service User you've created - this will be used later to assign them to the correct group.
✅ Step 2: Create an Integration Group
1. Go to Settings > Permission Groups and click on Add Permission Group.
2. In the pop-up window, enter a group name of your choice.
3. Click on Select People and then on Select under 'Add specific people'.
4. Use the search function to find the Service User by the name you noted earlier (e.g., 'Hello Hello').
5. Select the Service User and click Apply.
6. Finally, click Create and then Confirm.
✅ Step 3: Assign Permissions
1. Navigate to the People’s Data section to add specific permissions to the newly created group:
People → Personal → Edit selected employees’ Personal sections.
People → Address → View selected employees’ Address sections
People → Payroll → View selected employees’ Payroll sections
People → Lifecycle → View selected employees’ Lifecycle sections
After these permissions are set, the integration between HiBob and Deel Global Payroll will be equipped to access the necessary employee information, streamlining your global payroll operations.
