To give you more flexibility over how you procure and manage equipment globally, you may now pick and choose the Hofy services that best suit your business’ needs for each of your teams, rather than renting the same services for all.
You now have the ability to procure devices from Hofy on rental or by purchase via our platform. We've highlighted the core differences between the two options below:
[ACCORDION] Updating your default settings
To review and update your organisation's default selections, visit 'Payments & Billing' within your account's 'Settings' page. You may also choose to override the organisation-wide defaults for a specific team.
Now, you may have most of the organisation on purchasing terms but can select to have particular teams on rental terms. If it better suits your needs, you have the option to select varying rental durations of 12, 24 or 36 months or may opt for different global hardware support packages for each team. Customize your settings to meet your needs.

[ACCORDION] Global hardware support
You now have the option to select that global hardware support package that suits your business' needs. Whether ordering devices on rental or for purchase, you may choose between our Standard or Standard + Loaner hardware support packages and for a one, two or three year basis. We require a minimum of one year of Standard global hardware support. If renting devices, the global hardware support package must match the duration of your rental agreement. Rental durations are now offer at 12, 24 or 36 months.
The only difference between the two package options is that with Standard + Loaner, Hofy will send a loaner device to your team member when their device needs to be sent in for repairs.
Prices for the service packages are on a sliding scale, dependent on the device manufacturer's retail price in the US.
[ACCORDION] Extended warranty
Add an extended warranty to cover the costs of any repairs as a result of hardware failure and not accidental damage after the first year. The extended warranty matches the selected global hardware support duration and is only available at time of order. Warranty pricing is on a sliding scale, dependent on the device manufacturer's retail price in the US.
[ACCORDION] Accessories and peripherals
Under the new customizable model, accessories and peripherals across 22 categories are available for purchase only. This comes at an overall savings to you from our previous rental only model. Global hardware support packages are not offered for accessories.
[ACCORDION] Hofy's store fee
In our unbundled model, products are listed in our catalogue based on the recommended retail price in the US with a "store fee" applied. This fee covers our vertically-integrated model, which means we hold stock and run warehousing globally to provide you:

In-transit loss and damage protection
Centralized billing across 120+ countries
Guaranteed stock delivered on time for start dates globally
The ability to approve a product once for all teams globally - set it and forget it
Access to on-the-ground lifecycle services globally like storage, pre-configuration and clearance
