As a Hofy manager, although we can't always offer it, you may able to cancel an order before it is shipped out, depending on its current status.
As a B2B platform, at Hofy we provide a full rental and purchase solution to our customers, therefore whenever you place an order, a new contract is started and activated upon its delivery. You can manage your existing contract whenever you want, however once a contract is agreed upon by placing an order, it cannot easily be cancelled.

[ACCORDION] Accidental order
If you have placed an order by accident, please reach out to Hofy Support as soon as possible via our in app help button or fill this contact form and select Deel IT. If the order hasn't been processed just yet, we may be able to cancel this for free. However, if the order has already been shipped, cancellation fees may apply. Cancelling a contract is charged at 80% of the contract value (contracts taken out from the 1st of May 2024 no longer benefit from this discount) or at no additional cost if it has already been paid upfront.
To avoid paying for unwanted orders, please make sure that the item is correct before approving a request and you are happy with the equipment's specifications, compatibility and your team member's needs.
[ACCORDION] Upfront order
When cancelling a contract which was paid for upfront, there is nothing further to pay at the point of cancellation. There is no refund for time left on the contract.
[ACCORDION] Damaged or missing item
If the item has been lost or stolen, we will also charge a purchase fee on top of the cancellation costs. For devices, the purchase fee is 9 x the 36 month cost of the item on old terms of a percentage of its recommended retail price on new terms. For all other rented accessories, this is £1/€1/$1.
If we receive an item back to Hofy which is damaged beyond standard wear and tear, in a bad condition, a repair or replacement fee will be applied to your organisation's next invoice.
[ACCORDION] If an order cannot be cancelled - your alternative options
If an order can no longer be cancelled for free, you may choose to:
Redirect your order to another team member within the same customs region, utilising point to point transfers (Redistributing equipment from one team member to another - point to point transfers)
For devices only, you may enrol it into our Store & Reuse service and reassign the contract in the future, whenever suits you more, from selected regions (Hofy's Store and Reuse service - collect, store and repurpose your Hofy contracts)
Cancel the contract for 80% of its outstanding contract value and return it back to Hofy (contracts taken from the 1st of May 2024 do not have this discount)
[ACCORDION] Purchased order
When you purchase a device through Hofy and we deliver it, we no longer own the item and it belongs to your organisation. As such, we may not be able to offer a return, however you can use our Asset Tracking feature to manage it.
