Welcome to Hofy - a user friendly online platform where we strive to provide a wonderful onboarding experience for you and get you equipped with high end IT equipment easily before you start your new role!
[ACCORDION] Getting started
If you've been sent an invite to join Hofy, you just need to follow the invite link to set up your profile. From there, check your delivery address and personal details or fill them in from scratch within 'Profile'.
You get access to a curated catalogue of items which your organisation already approved for you. They may share some guidelines with you separately to advise what you should order.
[ACCORDION] Credits & Catalogue
In the top right corner you can see the number of Credits you have available. This number is intended for you to order anything other than a laptop (laptops don't consume any credits).
If you are unsure what to order, head to 'Catalogue' and browse your selection of devices, IT peripherals, IT accessories and Furniture accessories (if any).
If you are in doubt what you can or should place a request for, reach out to your line manager or the manager in charge of Hofy (HR or IT for example). Your organisation has at least 1 Hofy manager, please reach out to your team internally for more information.
Please note the items you see are already pre-approved and they are added to your catalogue by your Hofy manager directly. If there is something you would like to order but can't see it, it is likely your Hofy manager will be able to review your selection and advise if it is possible to be added for you.
Please note as Hofy we respect the selections created by your organisation and Hofy Support is not able to approve any additional items to your catalogue on your company's behalf nor increase your credit allowance.
[ACCORDION] Requests & Orders
You can place a request for your organisation's Hofy manager to approve it. They might place your order on your behalf as well instead, depending on your internal policies.
If you place a request for equipment, your manager usually needs to approve your order before it gets placed.
[ACCORDION] Tracking your orders
Remember that usually your organisation manager has to approve your request before your order is placed. You can track the status of a request in the 'Requests' section.
Once a request has been approved, you can view the items assigned to you in the 'Profile' section. Clicking into each item will display tracking information for each item, as well as the number of credit used on the item if it is not a laptop.

When your equipment is delivered, check its condition and components. Any issues, questions or concerns please reach out to Hofy Support.
Some items may require additional assembling. Please extra take care when carrying out any work and ask for help if you're unsure or reach out to Hofy Support - they can guide you through your set up.
We highly recommending keeping both your shipping and brand packaging. Whilst we understand due to some reasons such as limited space this is not always an option, in the event we need need to provide packaging later, it is for a paid fee charged to your organisation.

- Your device is provided to you by your organisation to carry out your role and it is intended for working purposes.
- If possible, please keep all the packaging your equipment arrived in.
- Please do not link your device to your Apple ID and do not enable Activation Locks or Bitlocker Encryption on Windows
- Please take good take of your items as they may be collected in the future.
- In the event your device is being collected, please follow the instructions we provide to wipe your data and reset the device (more details in the Guide to Hofy Device Management)
