A Qualifying Life Event (QLE) is a significant change in life circumstances - such as marriage, birth of a child, or relocation - that enables you to modify your health insurance coverage outside of the normal enrolment period.

How to Submit a Qualifying Life Event
To submit a Qualifying Life Event please upload the required documentation to the Documents tab.
- Navigate to Workspace in the Navigation Bar and select Documents
- Scroll to Optional Documents
- Select QLE and click Start
- Upload your QLE Document
You must notify Deel within 30 days of any Qualifying Life Event in order to be eligible to modify your Health Insurance coverage.
What happens next
Deel's HR Team will review your supporting documentation and contact you directly to facilitate benefits enrolment on the Deel platform.
