Development plans are personalized files that clients can create, giving their employees a clear path to grow professionally and contribute more effectively to their organization’s success.

Before you begin
To complete this guide, make sure to have:
- A Deel Engage admin access
- Deel Engage enabled on organization
- Career turned on under Deel Engage
There are two components to setting up a career development plan: Templates and Assignments.
Step 1. Create a template
To create a template:
1. Go to Engage > Career and select Development plans.
2. Navigate to the Templates page and click Create template.
3. Customize your template, and click Publish.
Step 2. Assign a template
Now that the template has been created, it can be assigned to workers.
To assign a template:
1. On the Assignments page, click Create assignment.
2. On the New assignment page, enter development plan details and then Assign.
The assignment is done and now employees will be linked to their career development plan.
