About Workforce Planning
The Workforce Planning feature offers:

Accessing the Workforce Planning
Via the Workforce Planning dashboard, clients can:
- Create job profiles
- Create and manage job positions for their entire organization
- Allow managers to request job positions
- View the organization's job positions on the org chart
- Connect to the ATS to track and follow up on hiring processes
- Plan in advance by comparing different alternatives for their position needs
From the homepage, click the People icon, followed by the Workforce Planning tab. From there, click Request Access to talk to our team and request access to the feature.

Creating a Job Profile
✅ Step 1 - Create a job profile
From the Organization Settings, click View for the Workforce Planning card, select the Job Profiles tab, and click Create Job Profile.
✅ Step 2 - Add the job profile details
Add the job details, scope, and annual compensation range.
Click Create.
The job profiles will be visible in the Job Profiles tab, where they can be edited or deleted.
Creating a Job Position
✅ Step 1 - Create a job position
From the homepage, click the People icon, followed by the Workforce Planning tab. Click Create job position.

Clients can only use a previously created job profile to create a job position.
Once the position has been added, it will be visible from the Workforce Planning tab, where it can be edited, deleted, or duplicated.
The Workforce Planning dashboard will also display the number of filled, vacant, and pending positions. Additionally, clients can view a detailed compensation range and see the percentage of the budget allocated to each position.
Manager Requests
Within Workforce Planning in the Organization Settings, clients can add other managers via the Access tab by clicking Add Workers.
These managers, through the Workforce Planning dashboard, will be able to submit job position requests, which will require client approval.
Those requests will be visible under Pending Positions in Workforce Planning. From there, clients can review and either approve or deny them.
Workforce Planning Approval Policy
All positions created by org admins are automatically approved. However, custom approval policies can be configured via the Workforce Planning card under Organization Settings.
Within the General tab, click Approval Policies and select the approvers.

Yes. Deel Workforce Planning is a paid feature. Pricing can be discussed with the team upon submitting an access request.

Deel currently does not impose any limits on the number of positions or job profiles clients can create.
