Group Admins can assign Approvers within their group to review and approve work submitted before the payment goes through.
In order to guarantee that there will always be at least one manager with the right to approve items in a group, managers with the Admin role always have the right to approve items by default.

Assigning A Group Manager as Approver
✅ Step 1 – Assign manager
Select the Group Settings tab on your home page and then click Assign Manager.
✅ Step 2 – Select managers
Click Assign Role to assign a group manager role to the workers.
You can toggle the option to apply the same role for all managers you have selected, or you can assign roles individually.
✅ Step 4 – Assign manager role
Select the manager role and then click Assign.

✅ Step 5 – Add additional permissions
You can add additional permissions for the manager, depending on their manager role:
- Approve items
- Adjust payment items
The Viewer (non-sensitive data) manager role can not be granted permissions to approve or adjust.
Viewer (sensitive data) can be added as an approver only.
Click Confirm, then click Assign Manager.
How to add an Group Manager - Approver
If a manager is already a part of the group and you want to add them as an Approver, you can do this by clicking on the pencil icon.
The Viewer (non-sensitive data) manager role can not be granted permissions to approve or adjust.
Viewer (sensitive data) can be added as an approver only.
Add or remove additional permissions for the manager, then click Update.
If you want to change the Group Manager role entirely, click Change.
You can also remove the selected manager from the group by clicking Remove Access.
