If you haven't created your Deel account yet, this article might be handy as it explains our sign-up process.
Where to start?
There are two scenarios for activating the contract from the contractor's side:
- Your client created the contract and sent it to you.
- You created the contract and sent it to your client.
In order to activate the contract, both the client and the contractor need to sign it - if only one party signs, the contract will remain inactive until the other party signs it.
Your client has created and sent you a contract
In this case, you will receive an email invitation to sign the contract and should follow these steps:
- Click on the 'Review & Sign' link in the email.
- The link will lead you directly to the Deel platform and the contract tab.
Once there, you will be able to access the contract and digitally sign it.
Note: Make sure you have created a contractor account by checking the lower-left corner of your Dashboard.
You created the contract and sent it to your client
In this case, after you created the contract, you will need to send it to your client for signature.
Once the client has signed, you will be able to do so as well.
All you need to do is enter your client's email and a message (optional), which will trigger an email notification to your client with a link to the contract.
