Clients can create customized filters in their Group Settings to help them easily locate individual contractors to pay, or to find specific contracts to review based on customized filters.
The custom fields feature enables the client to make their own filters/tags to search for more specific things and filter contracts.

How to create custom fields
✅ Step 1 - Select Organization Settings
✅ Step 2 - Select the Custom Fields box
This is where you can add supplementary information to be added to workers' personal profiles or contracts.
✅ Step 3 – Click Add Field
You can create a new custom field or add information from the suggested list.
✅ Step 4 – Select Group Settings tab
The Group Settings tab will not appear if you are viewing "All Groups."
You can click the vertical three dots to change from All Groups to a specific group.

How to add your custom fields to a contract
You still must add your custom field to a contract to see it when you later apply payment filters.
✅ Step 1 – Select contract
Select the (1) People tab on your home page and click on a (2) contractor contract
✅ Step 2 – Click Set Value on the custom fields box
Select the Project Code type from the drop down menu, if needed
How to filter a mass payment using custom fields
✅ Step 1 – Click the Filters tab from the Pay Your Group page
✅ Step 2 – Select your customized field from the drop down menu
You can now further filter the options from the custom types you have created
[ACCORDION] If I created a new custom field, can I retroactively update all contracts to apply the new filter?
Yes, and here's how:
✅ Step 1 – Click Update Work from the Contracts tab on your Dashboard
✅ Step 2 – Select the contract type you want to adjust and click Export contracts to CSV
You can review active contracts in the .csv file and add updates like expenses, adjustments, and bonuses.
✅ Step 3 – Edit the Custom Field column and Upload the CSV
✅ Step 4 – Scroll to the bottom and click Apply These Changes
Only active contracts will be available for mass adjustments. Pending and terminated contracts will not be exported

A list of fields including language, percentage, currency, and more is supported by the Custom Fields.
This will allow clients to create fields that can be used to collect information from their contracts.
Additionally, Clients are able to edit and configure the fields they create.

Clients can create contracts based on their specifics using the organization tab and following the same procedure of making custom fields and adding a spoken language field.
