We have a clear and structured platform for managing your company's groups and managers.
You can easily add managers with varying levels of permissions and access across groups.

✅ Step 1 – Add new group
Select the Options menu on your home page and click Add A New Group.
You can also review existing groups, make changes, and add groups by selecting the Organization Settings tab on your home page, selecting the Groups tab, and clicking Add group.
✅ Step 2 – Name the group
✅ Step 3 – Add managers
Check the box next to the managers you want to add the group.
You can also search for a manager by entering a name or email address.
✅ Step 4 – Select the role for each manager
Click Assign Role to assign the worker one of the seven roles that we offer for group managers:
- Group Admin : Admins have the highest permission level and can manage all group settings
- People Manager and Payer : Can manage people and contracts, and adjust and perform payments
- People Manager : Can manage people and contracts and adjust payment items.
- Payer : Can perform payments, adjust payment items, and file tax forms.
- Onboarding Specialist : Can create, edit and set end date for contracts.
- Viewer (Sensitive Data) : Can view both personal details and professional sensitive data
- Viewer (Non-Sensitive Data) : Can only view non-sensitive professional information

✅ Step 5 – Create Group
You can only create the group when every manager has a designated role.
How to add group managers
✅ Step 1 – Invite new manager
Select the (1) Organization Settings tab on the home page, select the (2) Managers tab, and then click (3) Invite Manager
✅ Step 2 – Fill out personal details
✅ Step 3 – Assign groups
Assign the manager to group to give them specific roles and permissions.
Managers who are not assigned to at least one specific group will not be able to access groups in the organization.
You can assign a manager to one group or multiple groups.
If you select multiple groups, you can enable the toggle to assign the same role for the manager across all selected groups. Or, click Assign Role for each group to personalize the role per group.
✅ Step 4 – Assign Role
Click Assign Role to assign the worker one of the seven roles that we offer for group managers:

Depending on the role you select, you may also have the option to add additional permissions.
It is not possible to edit additional permissions for the Group Admin or Viewer (non-sensitive)
✅ Step 5 – Review and confirm
Confirm the manager's role for each group you have selected.
Click Invite Manager.
The worker will receive an email from Deel with instructions on how to confirm and set up their account.
How to edit group managers
✅ Step 1 – Open managers list
Select the (1) Organization Settings tab on your home page and then select (2) Managers
Click the manager's name that you wish to edit access.
✅ Step 2 – Edit or delete manager role
Click the blue pencil edit icon to change the manager role or remove from groups.
Click Assign Group to assign the manager to additional groups.
You can remove all manager access by clicking Delete Manager.
