This article explains how independent contractors can request time off from their clients.
Time-off can be requested for all the contracts which include Fixed contracts, Milestone contracts and Pay As You Go contracts.
For Fixed contracts:
✅ Step 1 – From the Deel homepage, click on the Workspace icon followed by Profile tab and select Time off.
✅ Step 2 – Add Time Off
Fill out the dates for your request and add additional details.
An email will be received when the request has been accepted or rejected.
Check the status of a request from the Time Off tab. Cancel a request by selecting the upcoming Time Off details and clicking on Cancel Time Off.
For Milestone Contracts and Pay As You Go Contracts
Navigate to contract profile to access the time-off flow.
With Milestone or Pay As You Go contract type, unpaid time off must also be requested.
✅ Step 1 – Select the Time Off page
From your home page, scroll down and click on View all in Time Off and Public Holidays section. Click on Add Time off button on top right.
✅ Step 2 – Add time off details
Fill out the dates for the request and add additional details.
Click Request Time Off
Requested Time Off details can be edited or the request cancel entirely.
