Employees hired as Deel Consultants within the Deel Consultants model will complete regular work experience reviews, or "check-ins". In parallel, Deel clients working with Consultants will complete questionnaires to assess Deel's service.
The check-in cycle initiates from the date the consultant completes onboarding.
When Do Check-Ins Happen?
Depending on the country, Deel will initiate a quarterly (3 months), bi-annually (6 months,) or yearly (12 months) check-in for clients and Deel consultants.
If a check-in is overdue, Deel may reach out to you to complete the survey to ensure full compliance. The check-in questions will vary by country.
How Deel Consultants Can Complete the Check-in
✅ Step 1 – Receive email
Deel will send consultants a regular reminder to complete their check-in. Consultants can click Start Check-In Survey on the email or simply log into their Deel account to view any outstanding check-ins.
✅ Step 2 – View outstanding check-in
If a check-in is pending, it will open automatically when a consultant logs in to the platform.
Consultants will also see a Check-In card on their account page.
✅ Step 3 – Complete survey
The consultant will see a pop-up box with a single modal box to input the following information. All questions are mandatory:
- Experience of working at Deel
- How is your experience in your current project (mood selection)
- Additional details
How Clients Can Complete the Deel check-in
✅ Step 1 – Receive email reminder
Clients will receive an email reminder to complete the check-in for the Deel consultant.
If multiple consultants were onboarded at the same time and the check-ins were due on the same day, clients would still receive only one email.
Depending on the country every three months, six months, or twelve months after the Deel consultant completes the onboarding, the client will receive an email to complete the check-in for that consultant.
✅ Step 2 – Log into the platform
Clients will see a list of pending check-ins in the My Tasks card on the home page.
✅ Step 3 – Click Start to initiate the review process
Clients will be asked to complete the following information
- Performance rating (mood selection)
- Additional details
