Required Reserve
To ensure we can reliably provide Anytime Pay to your employees, Deel requires a reserve for each enabled entity.
The reserve acts as a refundable safety deposit that helps cover Anytime Pay access before payroll is processed. It is:
- Automatically calculated based on your entity’s payroll and salary information
- Designed to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience for both you and your employees
- Entity-specific, meaning each entity has its own reserve requirement
The required reserve is set by Deel and cannot be adjusted manually.
Managing Employee Access
In the Employees tab, you can:
- View all employees with Anytime Pay access and check their current status
- Revoke/restore access for individual employees if needed
FAQs
[ACCORDION] Can I enable Anytime Pay for all entities at once?
Yes. When requesting access, you can select “All Entities” to activate Anytime Pay across all eligible entities in one go.
[ACCORDION] What is the Required Reserve?
A refundable safety deposit that a client sets aside to activate Anytime Pay for eligible Deel Payroll workers. It’s not a fee and doesn’t change monthly invoicing; it simply sits in a separate account as a compliance buffer. The reserve isn’t touched during payroll and rolls over each month; the amount is tailored to your team (a small % of monthly payroll) and may be adjusted as your payroll changes.
[ACCORDION] How long does activation take after payment?
Once reserve invoices are paid and processed, Anytime Pay becomes active for the selected entities within 24 hours.
