[ACCORDION] Will adjustments or amendments apply to the current payroll cycle?
It depends on when the items were approved and signed.
All adjustments approved and amendments signed before the cut off date will apply to the current payroll cycle. However, adjustments made after the cut off date will be applied to the following cycle.
Similarly, if a new employee completes their onboarding after the cut off, their first payroll will be added to the next cycle.
[ACCORDION] Does the weekend affect cut off dates?
No, the weekend does not affect payroll cut off dates.
For example, if the cutoff is end of day PST on a Saturday then that is when we would lock in the data for that month.
[ACCORDION] What if pay day falls on a weekend?
If the payment date for employees to receive their salaries falls on a weekend, Deel will always pay the Friday before.
This is true for both monthly payroll and bi-month payroll countries.
This ensures that employees receive their compensation in a timely manner, even when a scheduled pay day falls on a non-business day.

If a new employee completes their onboarding after the cut off, their first payroll will be added to the next cycle.

In countries where On-Demand Payroll is available, clients can pay individual EOR employees their full salary up to one month in advance of payday.
There is a $29 fee for each employee impacted by the On-Demand Payroll request.
