Deel offers two Workday integrations. Each one supports different contract types and has a different setup process. Before you start, identify which integration applies to your organization so you follow the right guide.

Workday GPC integration
The Workday GPC integration is Deel's current Workday integration, built on Workday's Global Payroll Connect (GPC) certification. It is organised in plugins, where each plugin handles the sync of a specific type of data. Plugins are enabled independently based on your organisation's contract types and needs.
Supported contract types: Global Payroll (GP), PEO, EOR
What it supports:
- Automatic sync of employee data from Workday to Deel, including demographics, job information, compensation, and bank details
- Payroll results, payslips, and tax documents synced from Deel back to Workday
- Time off logging in Workday with sync to Deel
- One-time and recurring payment sync
- Additional payroll data collection directly in Workday
- Global Payroll Hub integration for centralised payroll visibility
Who should use this integration:
- All new clients connecting Workday to Deel
- Existing EOR clients who want access to the full plugin set
Refer to the How to connect Workday GPC to Deel guide for more information.
Workday PECI integration
The Workday integration is an older connection between Workday and Deel. It supports a limited set of plugins across EOR and Global Payroll contracts.

Not sure which one you have?
If you are not sure which Workday integration your organisation is using, here are two ways to check.
Check in Deel
- Go to More > Apps.
- Search for Workday in the App Store.
- If you see Workday GPC, your organisation is using the GPC integration. If you see Workday only, you are on the PECI integration.
Ask your Deel representative
If you cannot determine which integration you have from the Apps page, contact your Deel representative. They can confirm which integration is active on your account and advise on whether a migration to GPC is recommended.
