The Zapier integration allows Deel clients without technical coding skills to sync data with a 'no-code' option.
We want to make it easier for our non-technical clients to automate processes using Deel API by enabling them to access no-code tools.
Using Zapier, you can build automation flows with Deel without a background in computer coding.
You must be an Org Admin or IT Developer Admin on Deel in order to utilize the Zapier integration.

How to create a customized Zap between Deel and external software
Creating API access tokens on Deel
Creating a customized Zap between Deel and your external software
✅ Step 1 - Choose app and event
Select Deel as an app and choose the event for which you want Deel to send information to your external software.
You can also choose your external software here if you want to send information automatically from that software to Deel.
✅ Step 2 - Choose account
Sign in to Deel with your Access Token.
You can create Access Tokens from the Developer Center on the Deel platform under Apps & Integrations
Creating API access tokens
If you did not create an access token in our Developer Center, please follow the steps of our API guide
Select the Apps & Integrations tab on your home page and select the Developer Center.
From here you can create a new token under the API & Sandbox access tab.
Choose the correct scopes for your token in order for Zapier to be able to access the information you want to sync
Please note that you must be an Organization Manager in Deel to retrieve the API token.
✅ Step 3 - Test trigger
Zapier will test the event that you have chosen back in Step 1.
Zapier will then display the retrieved data structure to give you an overview of the contents and to ensure the connection is working seamlessly.
✅ Step 4 - Set up action in your external software
Choose your external software out of the 5,400 applications that Zapier works with, and set up the action that should be performed.
Please choose Deel in this step if you prefer sending information automatically from your external software to Deel.
✅ Step 5 - Publish your Zap
Publish your Zap once you have tested the events to start your automation.
Examples
You can find some Deel <> Zapier automation examples below.
Please also check our Zapier <> Deel integration page here to match Deel with your favorite tools to see the options available for data exchange.
New contract creation
We want this action to automatically create a new onboarding project in Asana to help our hiring groups to prepare the onboarding for new joiners from an Asana template and then keep track of new joiners’ progress during their onboarding time.
Invoice adjustments
Let us look at an example where a new invoice adjustment that has been created on Deel will send a Slack message to a channel or specific person.
This can be helpful for the approver to receive notifications proactively instead of constantly checking the platform for new items to approve.
Timesheets
Let us look at an example where a new approved time off event in Timely Time Tracking will create a new timesheet entry in Deel.
This can be helpful for any company that uses an external system to track time and wants to avoid double-keying that information manually into Deel.
