This FAQ article answers some of the top questions Global Payroll clients may hear from direct employees who are in the process of being terminated.

[ACCORDION] Can my employees access their Deel accounts after termination?
Yes, Global Payroll direct employees can still access their Deel accounts and download all documents on the platform even after termination.
Employees can access their accounts using their same email and password. If the login email is deactivated, contact us for assistance.
[ACCORDION] Can I add a final severance payment?
Yes, clients can also add a final severance pay, either as a Cash Value or Time Value when offboarding employees.
- Cash Value: Enter the desired amount of money for the severance payment, which is in addition to the mandatory statutory severance payment.
- Time Value: Clients can add a time value severance measured in days, weeks, or months.
When offboarding an employee, the client will see the number of vacation days the employee is entitled to annually.
Clients will enter the number of time off days that the employee used for the year, up to the current date, to calculate offboarding payment.
[ACCORDION] What if the terminated employee has direct reports?
If the employee being terminated is a manager with direct reports, the client will be prompted to select a new manager for those reports during the termination process.
[ACCORDION] Can employees review old payslips from when they were EOR?
Yes, historical payslips and tax documents from the workers' time as EOR employees will still be available.
