This guide explains how clients can view and manage an EOR employee’s visa assessment and application through the Deel platform in a few simple steps.
✅ Step 1 - Log In
From the Deel website, click Log In.
✅ Step 2 - Review and sign the Master Service Agreement
Select the applicable entity and click on View details to review the Master Service Agreement.
Clients must review and sign this agreement before we begin the employee visa assessment.
✅ Step 3 - Employee signs up to Deel
Once the clients have signed the agreement, we will send the employee an email invitation to sign up to Deel.
✅ Step 4 - Employee confirms visa Information
Employees will need to create their Deel account and complete the onboarding checklist, which will include reviewing their visa assessment information.
If the client pre-filled information when creating the EOR contract, the employee will be able to find it on the assessment.
The employees will be asked about their current country of residence, their citizenship, their highest level of education, and how many dependents would need a visa. They will also have the option to add their LinkedIn profile or any additional information.
Once done, the employee can review and submit their application.
✅ Step 5 - Receive the quote
Once the employee has submitted their visa information, Deel is going to review it and will then get in touch with the client about the outcome.
If the employee is eligible for a visa in the country of choice, we will present the with a quote that will include the timelines, the type of visa, and the next steps of the employee's visa application.
✅ Step 6 - Review the quote
To review the quote, click on the button with the employee’s name and Review.
In the quote, clients will also find the costs per employee and dependents (if any), and any other costs to be paid such as documentation or government fees. At this stage, clients will also need to review the terms and conditions.
✅ Step 7 - Receive the invoice
If happy with the quote and have approved it, we will create an invoice. We need the client to make the payment on this invoice for us to then begin the employee's visa application.
To make the payment, click on View Invoice and be redirected to our payment portal.
✅ Step 8 - Next steps
Via the Immigration tab, in the Case Tracker, clients will now see that the status of the employee’s visa application has changed to In Review. This means we are working on the visa application, and once complete, we will submit it to the relevant authorities. We will keep the client and the employee informed, and once the visa is finalized, it will be sent to the employee.
Clients can also see additional immigration information in the tracker such as:
Process status;
Type of visa;
Estimated completion time;
Steps completed and
Total fees, if any.
By clicking on the employee's name, clients will have a more detailed view of the progress and be able to check the status timeline.
