How to Configure Custom Approval Policies
✅ Step 1 – Go to the Organization Settings Icon and Click on the Approval Policies card
In the Approval Policies page, select the Policies tab.
✅ Step 2 – Click on the applicable Approval Policies
By default, policies such as Data Change Policy, Time Off Policy, and Time Tracking Policy are predefined on the platform. You can configure these policies by clicking on the Edit button.
Additionally, you can also create a custom Approval Policy by selecting Create Approval Policy.
✅ Step 3 – Enter Approval Policy Information
You can now name the approval policy and describe it. If you are creating a custom policy you can select the applicable feature on which the policy is based.
✅ Step 4 – Select Policy Approvers
You can now select the Policy approvers within your organization and create levels of approval flow. You can also configure multiple approvers within a level. Click on Finish.
In the Approver section, select the type of approver and their role in the organization. You can also set up a Substitute approver, who may approve the submitted timesheet hours in the absence of the approver.
You can also set notifications and reminders to the approvers of a particular policy.
