You can set up a custom subdomain through which your users can access the custom Deel instance.
Before you begin
To use a custom subdomain with White Label, you must:
- Own the domain you want to configure a subdomain for.
- Have access to the DNS settings of the domain.
- Have claimed the domain. That is, the domain must be linked to your Deel organization.
[name].[domain].[tld]. Other formats are not supported. For more information, see Supported subdomain formats.Subdomain setup flow
The following diagram shows the process for setting up a custom subdomain.
1. Set up the custom subdomain
You can set up the custom subdomain using one of the supported formats:
- When you do the initial setup of White Label
- Afterwards, from the White Label configuration page
2. Update the DNS records
When the DNS records are available, you will receive a notification email and will be able to see the DNS records in the White Label configuration page, then you can update them in your domain's DNS settings.
To update the DNS records:
1. Go to Configuration > White Label and locate the Custom URL section.
2. Do one of the following:
- If your DNS settings allow to import DNS records from a CSV file, select Download DNS records to download the CSV file.
- If your DNS settings allow to edit DNS records manually, select Read instructions to find a list of DNS records that you can copy and paste into your DNS settings.
3. Save your DNS settings and wait for the validation to happen.
3. Deel completes the setup
For you to start using the custom subdomain, Deel needs to complete some internal configuration. This can take up to 48 hours.
Once complete, the subdomain is active and Deel sends you an email confirming it's ready to use.
