What is Two Factor Authentication?
For your security, we require two-factor authentication (2FA) when logging into your account. This may also be required when performing other sensitive actions.
Two factor authentication (2FA) is a method of establishing access to an online account or computer system that requires the user to provide two different types of information.
Enabling 2FA is an important way to increase security while using your Deel account. It adds an extra level of protection to make sure only you have access to your data and transfers.
Why does Deel recommend Two Factor Authentication with an authenticator app?
The reason is simple: 2FA via an authenticator app gives your account the highest level of security.
From your smartphone, you can download on the App Store or Google Play an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
An authenticator app will generate a unique code every 30 seconds. It is twice as secure as sending a code via SMS.
