Deel automatically sends our clients notifications about important events – for example, when an invoice is ready to pay, a time-off request is submitted, or a contractor submits work.
Clients can choose which notifications they receive, how they receive them (email or in-app), and whether they want them sent immediately or as one daily summary.
Notifications are managed individually, but at least one person in each group must keep notifications turned on.
Manage Notifications From Profile Settings
Overview
Use your Profile Settings to decide which updates you receive from Deel and how often you get them.
Expected outcome: you only receive the notifications that matter to you.
Prerequisites
• You can log in to Deel and open your profile settings.
✅ Step 1 – Open Notifications
- Click the bell icon in the upper-right corner of the Deel dashboard.
- Select settings
✅ Step 2 – Review categories
On the settings page, click on a category to review notification method
✅ Step 3 – Toggle on/off your desired changes
Toggle on if you wish to receive notifications for the chosen category, then toggle the methods for notifications you wish to receive. Depending on the category, you may see options for email, push, Slack message, or more.
Receive Notifications of Integration Issues
When an integration cannot sync, Deel can notify specific people so issues are resolved quickly.
✅ Step 1 – Open the integration
Go to Integrations, choose the integration, then click the three-dot menu next to Sync Integration.
✅ Step 2 – Select Email notification settings
✅ Step 3 – Click Add to enter one or more email addresses that should get sync-error alerts.

The email’s appearance follows your email client or browser preference. To toggle dark mode in Deel, click your profile picture and choose a theme under Theme Selection.
