What does Global Payroll offer?
- Fully Managed Service: Eliminate additional staffing needs by letting Deel manage multiple currencies and country-specific compliance requirements.
- Consolidate Payroll: We truly consolidate all payroll (and EOR Employees and Contractors) in one place. Gain visibility into the global workforce costs. Businesses can save time and money by managing their entire global payroll on a single platform.
- Less Manual Work: There is only one platform to manage, reducing the time spent on manually entering data and allowing for more focus on growing the business. Deel automates the payroll process end-to-end, including integration with HRIS and accounting systems.
From the Deel dashboard, existing employees can be easily imported, benefits managed, deductions and remittances calculated, and payments made across all entities.
There is flexibility to select payroll cycles, pay bonuses and commissions, and offer equity and stock options, providing unprecedented visibility on global payroll costs.
Advanced reports and analytics, as well as key integrations, are also offered on the platform.
What specific services are included with a Global Payroll contract?
-Payroll calculation: When adjustments are submitted for each payroll cycle, the in-house payroll group will run the payroll calculation, ensuring it is always in accordance with the latest compliance rules and requirements.
- Payslip generation: Once the provided payroll report is reviewed and confirmed, payslips will be published for employees each cycle. These payslips can be viewed directly through the Deel platform or in the HRIS platform if using BambooHR, Workday, or Hibob.
- Enrollment in statutory benefits: Deel takes care of onboarding and offboarding processes, handling benefits such as the company’s social security policy and other statutory benefits required by law in the relevant country.
- Treasury services: Where available, Deel can facilitate direct payments to employees on behalf of clients. Deel handles all necessary payments to tax authorities, pension providers, and government agencies. Alternatively, clients can choose to pay employees directly, with Deel providing a detailed CSV file
- Customized Payroll setup: Clients will have full control over what additional items to add to their payroll report. Some customizable options include expenses, learning or development budgets, work-from-home allowances, or a private healthcare plan. It is possible to add this and more as an adjustment in the payroll report for no extra charge.
- Detailed Reporting: Deel generates detailed Gross-to-Net Reports each cycle, providing visibility into global expenditure. These G2N reports are standardized globally, facilitating easy comparison across countries and enabling strategic decision-making. Deel offers a consolidated view of all G2N totals across countries, entities, and payroll cycles in a single currency.
Is this a managed payroll solution?
Yes, Deel offers a managed payroll solution. With Deel, there is no need for specialized local payroll managers fluent in current local regulations and compliance rules.
Deel’s Global Payroll product enables scaling without the necessity of hiring finance specialists in every country. Deel handles compliance and calculations, while clients need only notify us of common adjustments such as new hires, terminations, promotions, or salary adjustments.
Payroll processing occurs monthly, with a report generated for client review. Payments are executed upon client confirmation of the payroll report. Clients have the option to pay employees through Deel or directly via their own local bank accounts.
How much does Global Payroll cost?
Deel offers progressive, tiered pricing - so the more employees clients have, the better the price will be per person.
The total cost will also vary according to the number of payroll cycles in your country. Other factors that may influence the price include your onboarding and offboarding needs.
There is an additional fee for treasury services if Deel makes the payments on a client’s behalf. This option is not always possible due to country regulations. There may also be a one-time setup fee.
