Surveys enable organizations to create and assign feedback and assessment processes to employees. They consist of multiple types of questions:
- Single choice
- Multiple choice
- Rating
- Open-ended questions
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) questions

Before you begin
To complete this guide, you'll need:
- An organization admin role on Deel
- To have set up Engage
Step 1. Create a survey
1. Go to Engage > Survey.
2. On the Surveys page, click Create.
3. Customize survey form and click Publish.
The survey is published and can be assigned to employees.
Step 2. Assign a survey
Now that the survey is published, it can be assigned to employees. Assignments can be made immediately or scheduled for a later time. Surveys can have due dates in a specific time zone.
1. Select a published survey and go to Participants.
2. Click Assign
3. In the Assign employees modal, select employees and click Assign.
The survey is assigned to employees, and they’ll be notified via email to fill it out.
Step 3. Manage a survey
After the survey is published and assigned to employees, it can now be managed.
Published surveys stay open to responses until they are closed, either immediately or scheduled for a specific date.
To change or end (close) a survey’s deadline:
Go to the published survey and click the ellipsis (…) menu.
Select Edit deadline.
Enter a new due date and click Save changes.

[ACCORDION] Can surveys be deleted?
Surveys cannot be deleted once they are published; they can only be closed.
[ACCORDION] Can some questions be skipped?
Yes, set questions as optional or mandatory, allowing you to control whether they can be skipped.
[ACCORDION] What are NPS questions?
Net Promoter Score (NPS) questions gauge how likely employees are to recommend your product or service or workplace environment, offering insights into overall satisfaction and growth potential.
[ACCORDION] Can survey assignments be automated?
No, currently, survey assignments can not be automated. They must be manually assigned.
[ACCORDION] What kinds of statistics are available for surveys?
Statistics available include results based on question types as well as overall survey progress.
