In Deel, Organization Admins play a key role in managing various aspects of the platform, from member management to integrations and billing. However, not all admin roles have the same level of access or responsibility.

General Deel Org Admin Roles
Deel offers four unique roles for org admins:
- Organization Admin: The highest level of visibility and permissions. Can manage all aspects of the organization. This includes everything from members, billing, group management, and other organization-wide settings, including the ability to create, view, and manage Deel IT functions.
- IT Developer Admin: Can build apps using Deel's API or subscribing to webhooks. They can also set up any native integration.

Integrations Admin - People: Can only set up HR, ATS and SSO integrations for the organization. Some examples include Azure AD, OneLogin and Okta.
- Integrations Admin - Bookkeeper: Can only set up accounting or expense integrations for the organization. Some examples include NetSuite, QuickBooks and Xero.

The highest level of visibility and permissions. Can manage all aspects of the organization. This includes everything from members to billing and other organization-wide settings.
People and Contracts
✅Manage contracts: Can view all personal and employment sensitive information, create, edit and set end dates for contracts.
Payroll and Payments
✅Pay invoices: Can pay invoices for any employees and contractors.
✅Adjust payment and payroll items: Can add or edit payment items, such as expenses, bonuses and milestones.
✅Submit payroll report: Can review and submit payroll report for direct employees.
✅Approve payroll and payment items: Can approve items such as expenses, bonuses and paid-time-off requests.
Analytics and Reports
✅View existing reports: Can view all reports available, such as headcount by country, payments summary and invoices summary.
✅Create custom reports: Can create custom reports based on available data.
Taxes
✅File 1099-NEC tax form to the U.S Internal Revenue Service: Can edit contractor's total pay and file tax forms to the IRS. This feature is only available to US-based entities.
Apps and Integrations
✅ Set up ready-to-use integrations: Can connect ready-to-use integrations with apps such as BambooHR, Roots, and Slack.
✅Manage custom integrations: Can create new API access tokens, sandbox accounts or webhooks to create custom integrations.
Group Settings
✅Manage group settings: Can add, edit, or delete groups. The only admin role that can add new groups.
✅Manage group admins: Can add, edit, remove, or delete group admins.
✅Set preferred payment methods: Can select preferred payment methods for the group.
Organization Settings
✅Manage organization details: Can edit organization name, logo and social media.
✅Manage customized subdomain: Can add, edit and delete a custom URL mirrored to the organization subdomain.
✅Manage organization admins: Can add, edit roles, and remove admins from all groups and entities.
✅Manage custom fields: Can add, edit, and delete customized attributes to contracts (such as employee ID, project code, etc).
✅Manage custom expense categories: Can add, edit and delete custom expense categories (such as business travel).

Deel Engage Admin Role
Deel Engage offers one unique admin role:

Deel Engage Admin: Can view, modify, delete, and manage all Deel Engage resources and settings.
Deel IT Admin Roles
Deel IT offers four unique roles for org admins.
Please note that Deel IT admin permissions alone do not enable the admin to add workers nor manage workers (people).
- Deel IT Admin: Can only view Deel IT and all associated functionality.
- Deel IT Admin + Approver: Can manage assets (create, edit, delete), create orders within policy defaults, and manage worker requests (approve, decline).
- Deel IT Admin + Approver + Manager: Can create orders and alter the policy defaults, has ability to end leases and agreements, manage devices (end-of-life actions, transfers, clearances etc), and manage device MDM.
- Deel IT Admin + Approver + Manager + Configurer: Can manage IT policies (create, edit, manage workers, change settings), can view Deel IT financial settings and credit allowances, and can submit requests for Deel IT add-ons.
Also, all Deel Organization Admins will be able to take action (configure, manage, view, and approve) on all Deel IT platform functions.
