Invoicing
Monthly Payments:
-
- Clients are invoiced for all ICs with an active policy.
- The premium (and, therefore, the invoiced amount) is determined per IC, based on the selected plan, the IC's age, and whether the extended add-on is enabled.
Annual Payments:
-
- Clients are invoiced at the time of activation.
- The premium (and, therefore, the invoiced amount) is determined per IC, based on the selected plan, the IC's age, and whether the extended add-on is enabled.
- The invoiced amount is prorated because coverage ends (and is auto-renewed) on October 31st each year. This aligns with the SafetyWing policy, which runs from November 1st to October 31st.
Example:
If an IC’s annual premium is $1,200 and their insurance is activated on January 1st, the hiring company will be invoiced for $1,000 (prorated for 10 months).
