This article explains how clients can enroll their employees in compliant benefits packages offered by third-party provider partners.
Depending on the employee location and relevant, country-specific legislation regarding benefits, some plans may be optional while other benefits may be mandatory and offered to all employees.
Step 1- Open the Deel Services page
Select the More icon and click Services
Step 2 - Select the Benefits card
Step 3 - Filter employee details
Choose the employee type and the country.
You can also further filter the benefit category or offering type.
Depending on the employee location, you will see that some benefits are mandatory and legally required to be included in the package offering. Other benefits and insurance packages may be optional add-ons.
This will vary depending on location and employee type.
If there are multiple providers, you can select a provider from the dropdown and read coverage specifics and other important details by clicking View File.
Many providers offer differing tiers of packages, so carefully review the file details to learn more.
Step 4 - Click Offer This Benefit
Carefully read the details on the pop-up screen, as this will contain country-specific legal information.
You may not be able to offer benefits to a selected group (or individual) of full-time workers, but rather must offer benefits to all full-time employees.
Toggle on the button if you wish to cover 100% of the benefits costs. The final amount, including taxes, will only be determined once the employee enrolls in a selected plan. You may also choose instead to cover a monthly allowance amount.
Contact us if you have additional queries about benefits, or if you wish to extend coverage to part-time workers as well.
Step 5 - Provider receives list of employees
We will contact our partnered provider to inform them of the list of employees that should be invited to enroll in the benefit.
Step 6 - Employees receive enrollment email
Employees will receive an email from the provider with instructions on how to complete the enrollment process.
Once enrollment is complete, clients will receive specific details on the total cost; and employees can start using their benefit per instructions from the benefit provider.
The employee benefit is ready to use!
