This article explains the supported currencies clients can use to fund their Deel accounts, along with the available payment methods. The supported currency will vary based on the chosen funding method.
Account funding refers to depositing money into a Deel account to ensure sufficient balance for upcoming payments, such as for contractors, employees, or other expenses.
Clients can choose to pay in one of the supported payment methods below:
- Contractors will be paid on time once the payment has been approved by Deel, and this will be reflected on the Deel platform with an Invoice Approved status.
- Even though the funds have been processed on the client's end, the transaction will only be completed when we receive them. This can take from 1 to 7 business days. When the transaction is settled the status will be marked as Invoice Paid.

Supported Currencies for Pre-Funding
Clients are encouraged to use the pre-funding feature to fund their General Fund.
The supported payment methods for pre-funding are: Bank Transfer and Wise.
Pre-funding is available only in the following currencies: USD, AUD, CAD, GBR, EUR.

Clients will be able to pay Deel via Tipalti after completing an initial payment set-up on their Tipalti account. They will need to log in to Tipalti and submit both the banking details and W9 form to be able to pay us through Tipalti moving forward. The payment on Deel's end looks exactly like a standard bank transfer.
