The Workday GPC integration now supports syncing rescind events from Workday to Deel. When a new hire's onboarding is rescinded in Workday, the corresponding worker is automatically removed from Deel if they had already been synced.

Before you begin
No additional setup, permissions, or mapping configuration is required for this feature. It is automatically available for all clients using the Workday GPC integration with the Global Payroll - People Data Sync plugin enabled.
How it works
When a hire rescind event occurs in Workday, the integration picks up the isHireRescinded signal during the next sync and removes the corresponding worker from Deel.
No action is required from the client or their Workday administrator beyond completing the rescind in Workday as normal.
What to expect

Known limitations
- The rescind sync is triggered at the next scheduled sync. It is not immediate. If you need the worker removed from Deel urgently before the next sync, remove them manually in Deel.
- If the rescind event is not appearing in the sync payload, contact your Deel representative.
