View your Device Requests
The Logistics Tracker uses a Kanban board to display your requests organized by status. When you open the Logistics Tracker, you'll see all your active and recent requests grouped into columns:
- Navigate to the Deel IT platform and open Logistics Tracker.
- View your requests displayed in the Kanban board layout, organized by status columns: Requested, In Progress, Under Inspection, and Completed.
- Each card shows the request type, recipient/destination, and current status at a glance.
Understanding Request Types
The Logistics Tracker handles multiple request types:
- Orders – Purchasing new devices for workers. After approval, orders move through the workflow and are delivered once a courier has been booked and the device is sent out.
- Send to Storage – Returning devices to Deel's warehouse. These requests include collection surveys and device inspection results. They're marked complete only after warehouse receipt and inspection are finished.
- Collections – Gathering devices during offboarding or other scenarios. Collections are tagged to show their origin (e.g., offboarding tag).
- Deliveries – Sending devices to workers or other locations.
- Repairs – Managing device repairs and maintenance.
- Clearance – Processing device clearance requests.
Understanding Request Statuses
Each request follows a status progression depending on its type:
- Requested – The request has been submitted and is awaiting approval or initial processing.
- In Progress – Deel is actively processing the request. For orders, this includes stages like shipment creation and courier booking. For storage requests, this is the initial phase before warehouse receipt.
- Under Inspection – (Storage requests only) The device has been received at the warehouse and is undergoing inspection.
- Completed – The request is finished. For orders, the device has been delivered. For storage, inspection is complete.
Note on filters
We've added filters to help you surface collections awaiting worker survey responses, collections pending cancellation, and inspections awaiting client action.
Filter and search your Requests
Use filters to find specific requests quickly.
- In the Logistics Tracker, locate the Filter panel on the left or top of the board (exact location depends on your view).
- Select from the available filter options:
- Request Type – Filter by Orders, Send to Storage, Collections, Deliveries, Repairs, or Clearance.
- Status – Show only requests in a specific status (Requested, In Progress, Under Inspection, Completed).
- Tags – Filter by metadata tags such as "Offboarding" to see requests related to employee departures.
- Combine multiple filters to narrow your results (for example: "All offboarding collections that are under inspection").
- To clear filters, click Reset or uncheck individual filter options.
View Request details and history
Click any request card to open its full details page. The details page shows:
- Request information – Type, recipient/destination, and request date.
- Shipment details – For orders and deliveries: courier information, tracking link (if available), and estimated or actual delivery date.
- Payment data – How the request was paid for and associated costs.
- Collection survey results – (Storage requests) Results from collection surveys sent to workers, including when they responded.
- Device inspection results – (Storage requests) Details from warehouse device inspections.

Before a shipment is created
If a shipment hasn't yet been created, the detail page will show a status message indicating that the device will be shipped in the coming days, along with an estimated delivery date if available.
After a shipment is created
Once the shipment is booked with a courier, you'll see:
- Updated status showing In Progress with intermediate stages (e.g., "Courier Booked").
- Shipment details including the courier name and any tracking information.
- Delivery cost and global delivery information.
Use table view for a condensed list
The Logistics Tracker offers a table view as an alternative to the Kanban board.
- In the Logistics Tracker, look for a View toggle or Table view option (typically in the top toolbar).
- Click to switch to Table view.
- You'll see all your requests in a condensed, sortable table format with columns for request type, recipient, status, date, and other key information.
- Use the same filters as the Kanban view to narrow the table results.
- Click any row to open the request details page.
Access your complete Request History
The Logistics Tracker maintains a historical record of all your requests, completed or in progress, for up to 6 months.
- Navigate to the Completed column (Kanban view) or filter by Status = Completed (table view).
- Review all finished requests, including details about how they were resolved, payment information, and any associated inspection or survey results.
- Use this audit trail to track past device orders, returns, repairs, and offboarding collections.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is my request history kept?
The Logistics Tracker retains a complete record of all requests, both active and historical, for up to 6 months.
What does "Under Inspection" mean?
When a device is under inspection, our Deel IT team is assessing its condition to determine whether it's fit for reuse, requires repair, or needs to be cleared. You'll see the device grade and outcome once inspection is complete.
Can I track my device delivery in real time?
Yes. The Logistics Tracker provides detailed shipping status updates, and includes a courier tracking link when available so you can monitor your delivery in real time.
What if I need to cancel a request?
Cancelled requests will appear in the Completed column with a "Cancelled" status, so you can see your cancellation history.
Why is my order still showing "Requested" and not progressing?
Orders remain in the Requested stage while pending approval. Once approved and dispatched, they move to the In Progress tab.
What information do collection surveys collect?
As part of our device collection process, we send a collection survey to the worker. The survey confirms their address, preferred collection dates, and whether shipping packaging is required.
Why do storage requests go through an "Under Inspection" status?
Every device returned to our warehouses must be inspected to determine its condition and decide whether it's fit for storage and reuse, repair, or clearance.
