How Much Is Required for Withdrawals?
The Deel withdrawal fee depends on the method selection. Deel cannot control separate transactions or exchange fees that are charged by someone's bank or financial institution.
This is the amount that Deel charges for contractor withdrawals:
-
Local Bank Transfers: $0 USD
- Deel does not charge a fee, but local bank transfer withdrawals may be subject to separate provider fees in some currencies.
- Cross-Border Withdrawals: $5 USD
- International Transfers / SWIFT: a variable fee of $5 USD, capped at a maximum of $10 USD
- Deel Instant Card Transfer: 0.75% fee (maximum $25) for banks in the United States; 2% fee (max $15) for all other countries
- Digital Currency Transfer: 2% service charge plus a flat $1 USD network fee
- Coinbase - Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Dash (DASH): 1.5%
- Coinbase - USD Coin (USDC): $5 USD flat fee for withdrawals under $300 USD, and 1.6% for amounts above $300 USD
- PayPal: 2.5% (minimum $0.25 USD)
- Payoneer: 1% (minimum $12 USD)
- Revolut: $0 USD
- AstroPay: 0.75%
- Wise (formerly TransferWise): $0 USD
- Deel Card: $0 USD (While there is no minimum amount required, Contractors should ensure they fund enough to cover the cost and shipment of their pending Deel Card. For example, if a Contractor in Argentina requests a physical Deel Card with a pending fee of $50, they need to fund more than $50 to cover the cost. Funding less than the pending Deel Card fee will result in an error.)
Important Notes:
Withdrawals via local bank transfer may be subject to a separate provider fee in some currencies. Deel cannot control fees that may be charged by a contractor's bank.
SWIFT withdrawals are supported in many countries and currencies. However, this withdrawal method may use multiple intermediary banks to process payments and may result in unpredictable processing fees.
Unfortunately, neither Deel nor the contractor's own bank can predict these fees.
These fees may be deducted from the final received amount and Deel cannot control or predict them.
For users in Ecuador: there is a US $25 fee for withdrawals. While Ecuador uses the USD there is no local clearing system for US dollars. As such, the withdrawal is processed as an international withdrawal.
Is There a Minimum Amount for Withdrawals?
Yes. The minimum amount required to initiate a withdrawal depends on the method selected:
- Local bank transfer: $10 USD
- SWIFT bank transfers: $100 USD
- Payoneer: $50 USD
- Coinbase - ETH, BTC, USDC, DASH: $10 USD
-
Coinbase - Solana: $20 USD
-
Deel Instant Card Transfer: $5 USD
- Digital Currency Transfer: $5 USD
- All other withdrawal methods: $5 USD minimum
What Is a Cross-Border Transaction Fee?
Cross-border transactions are transfers of funds from an entity in one country to another country, even if it’s the same currency.
For example: if a contractor from Argentina withdraws USD to a bank in the US, it is still considered a cross-border transaction.
Deel applies a nominal fee of $5 for same-currency, cross-border transactions. This fee covers additional compliance overheads associated with these kinds of transactions.
The cross-border withdrawal fee is included in the provider's fee and automatically deducted from the balance.
