Step 3 – Prepare documents for your first withdrawal
For your first withdrawal, gather the following information:
From your Contractor Agreement:
- First page showing the parties involved in your contract
- Page covering Section 2.4 showing Deel's role in your engagement
- Statement of Work table showing scope of work, payment rate, currency, and dates
- Signature page with both your signature and Deel's signature
Your invoice:
- Invoice for the withdrawal amount
- Previous month invoices if your withdrawal exceeds a single month's total
Note: After your first successful withdrawal, you only need to submit your invoice for future withdrawals — no contract documents required.
Submit your withdrawal and monitor progress
Step 1 – Submit your documents to Alipay
- Request a withdrawal to Alipay.
- Alipay will request your documents.
- Upload all required documents within 24 hours.
Step 2 – Check your withdrawal status
- Open the Alipay app.
- Go to the 我的 (My) section.
- Select 账单 (Bill).
- View your withdrawal status, pending document requests, and upload deadline countdown.
Caution: You have only 24 hours to upload documents. Missing the deadline will cancel your withdrawal. A countdown on your Alipay order page helps you track this deadline.
Step 3 – Wait for verification
- Alipay reviews submitted documents within 24 working hours.
- Check your Alipay order details page for the review outcome.
- You have up to 2 submission attempts if corrections are needed.
Step 4 – If Alipay rejects your withdrawal
If Alipay rejects your request, the funds are refunded to your Deel account. Before you resubmit:
- Open your Alipay order page in the Alipay app (see Step 2 above).
- Review the details carefully to understand what went wrong.
- Contact Alipay directly to clarify which documents are missing or incorrect.
- Gather the corrected documents based on Alipay's feedback before initiating a new withdrawal.
Remember, you have 2 submission attempts total. Taking time to clarify with Alipay first helps you get it right the second time.
