How contract transfers between entities work
When you transfer an EOR contract between entities within your organization, the employee’s current employment terms remain unchanged. However, your agreement with Deel will be updated, and any new invoices will be issued under the receiving entity.
Paid invoices and deposits will stay with the previous entity.
How to move a contract from one entity to another
✅ Step 1 - Navigate to the Entities Page
Click the Organization Settings icon. Select the Entities card.
This will show all the entities within your organization.
✅ Step 2 - Click on Move Contracts to another Entity
Find the entity from which you want to transfer the contract. Click the three dots next to the entity name and select Move Contracts to another entity.
✅ Step 3 - Choose the Entities
Select the current (moving) entity and the receiving entity. You can now select the contracts you want to move between the entities.
You must also specify the person responsible for the receiving entity. This person will sign the document to confirm the change.
✅ Step 4 - Sign the entity agreement
The transfer process will start once both you and the receiving entity’s Point of POC have signed the agreement.
We will send an email invitation to the Entity POC to review and sign the document.
