To help keep your account secure, some card transactions may be flagged for review if they appear unusual. When this happens, we’ll temporarily pause your Deel Card and ask you to confirm the transaction in your Deel account.

What happens when a transaction is flagged?
- Your card is temporarily frozen to prevent further transactions.
- You’ll receive an email asking you to review the transaction in the Deel app.
- The flagged transaction will be shown in the app with details such as the merchant, amount, and date.
How to review a flagged transaction
Open your Deel account and navigate to the transaction shown in the email. You’ll be asked to choose one of the following options:
✅ If you authorise the transaction
- This means you recognise the transaction.
- Your card will be automatically reactivated.
- You can continue using your card as normal.
❌ If you don’t recognise (reject) the transaction
- This means the transaction wasn’t made by you.
- Your card will be blocked to keep your account safe.
- No further transactions will be allowed on this card.
What if my card is blocked?
If your card is blocked after you reject a transaction, it can’t be reactivated automatically. You’ll need to contact Deel Support so we can review the case and coordinate next steps with our card provider.
This additional review helps ensure your account remains secure and that any further action is handled appropriately.
