Deel offers several contract types depending on your unique needs, and if you need to hire employees or contractors.
You can create three types of full-time employee contracts:

Employer of Record (EOR) Employee model
- Deel is the legal employer of record and provides all mandatory and statutory benefits in a worker's specific country

Global Payroll Direct Employee model
- Employees are hired using a company's own local entity and paid through Deel

Deel HR Direct Employee Model
- Employees are managed on Deel but paid through a local payroll provider
You can create three different types of independent contractor contracts:

Fixed Rate contract
- Contractor and client agree to a predetermined base rate for work, which recurs each pay cycle

Pay As You Go contract
- Contractors are paid at a variable rate based on the working days, hours, or tasks submitted

Milestone contract
- Contractor is paid a predetermined amount when they reach particular milestones along a project timeline
- Contractor is paid a predetermined amount when they reach particular milestones along a project timeline

Contractors Paid Outside Deel contracts

Flexible worker category designed for overseeing individuals hired through external agencies or providers. This includes consultants, freelancers, support agents, and more worker types. These contractors won't have Deel-compliant contracts, and they will not have access to Deel platform.
