The Workable integration lets clients connect Deel to your Workable, so that they can sync their candidates and onboard them on Deel when they're hired.

Before you begin
To complete the setup, you must:
- Have a user with an admin role on Deel
- Have a user with a super admin role on Workable
Supported contract types
The Workable integration supports the following contract types:
Step 1. Connect to Workable
Go to More > Apps > Workable.
Connect Workable to establish the connection.
Enter the Workable domain, then click 'Complete Setup'.

Click Allow Access to authorize the integration.
Deel is now connected to Workable and the integration is ready to be configured.
Step 2. Configure the integration
Once the integration is connected, it's time to configure it by mapping employee data. The following settings can be configured from the integration:
Configure group information
The group information determines the worker group that workers are assigned to when they are created in Deel.
To configure the group information:
- From the Workable integration page, locate the Core Deel HR plugin and click Manage.
- Next to Group information, click Customize.
- On the Mapping Group Information Fields page, do one of the following:
- If you want to add all employees from Workable to the same group in Deel, choose Only use default group and set the default group.
- If you want to add employees to Deel groups based on a Workable field, choose Map a field in Workable to your groups in Deel, then complete the mapping.
- When you're done, click Apply.
When candidates are created in Deel, the group will be pre-populated with the configured logic.
Configure job information
The job information determines what seniority level is assigned to workers when they are created in Deel.
To configure the group information:
- From the Workable integration page, locate the Core Deel HR plugin and click Manage.
- Next to Job information, click Customize.
- On the Mapping Job Information Fields page, do one of the following:
- If you want to assign the same seniority level to all employees, choose Only use default seniority level and set the level.
- If you want to assign the seniority level based on a Workable field, choose Map a field in Workable to your seniority level in Deel, then complete the mapping. - When you're done, click Apply.
When candidates are created in Deel, the seniority will be pre-populated with the configured logic.
Configure custom fields
With custom fields, you define what fields must be pre-populated when a user is created in Deel from information available in Workable. For example, you can map the email address in Workable to the email address in Deel.
To configure the custom fields:
- From the Workable integration page, locate the Core Deel HR plugin and click Manage.
- Next to Custom fields, click Customize.
- On the Mapping Custom Fields page, click Add.
- On the Map custom field dialog, select the fields to map, then click Next.
- (Optional) Enable Define default value by Deel if you want to use a fallback value if the Workable field is empty.
- Click Done.
- (Optional) Repeat from step 2 to add more custom fields as needed.
When candidates are created in Deel, the custom fields will be pre-populated with the values from Workable.
Configure exclusion rules
Exclusion rules allow you to exclude certain workers from being created on Deel when the rules are met.
Exclusion rules match the formula If on the _________, the _________ field says,
____________, then, do not trigger onboarding in Deel.
For example, you can configure exclusion rules to avoid creating workers on Deel when their Disqualified
field is set to True
in Workable.
To configure exclusion rules:
- From the Workable integration page, locate the Core Deel HR plugin and click Manage.
- Next to Exclusion rules, click Customize.
- On the Exclusion Rules page, click Add.
- On the New statement dialog, select the options to complete the exclusion statement, then click Apply.
- (Optional) Repeat from step 2 to add more exclusion rules as needed.
Candidates that match exclusion rules will not be created in Deel.
Step 3. Onboard candidates
This part of the guide will explain how to onboard candidates to Deel. Candidates are automatically created in Deel when they're set as hired in Workable. After that, the candidate onboarding can be completed in Deel.
Part 1. Set candidates as hired on Workable
To set candidates as hired on Workable:

Select Candidates from the navigation bar.
- Select a candidate.

Move the candidate to Hired.
A new candidate is created in Deel. You can now customize the contract type and other settings on Deel.
Part 2. Onboard candidates on Deel
After the candidate has been set as hired on Workable, the onboarding can be completed on Deel.
To onboard a candidate on Deel:
- In Deel, go to People.
- Do one of the following:
- If you see the banner New hires from Workable, click Review & Onboard.
- If you don't see the banner, you can manually navigate tohttps://app.deel.com/ats-new-hires
.

Next to each candidate, click Onboard.

Complete the creation by selecting the working relationship and entering the worker's details.
The candidate's contract is created on Deel.
Additional settings
Set a notification recipient
You can add email address to receive email notifications about the errors or required actions from the integration.
To add more recipients:
- From the Workable integration page, click the ellipses (three dots), then click Email notification settings.
- Click Add Email.
- On the Add email recipient dialog, enter the details, then click Save.
When new errors or required actions occur, the addresses listed in the notification settings will receive an email.
