This article explains how clients can archive an entire group within their organization, as deleting groups is no longer possible.
Before Starting:
Clients cannot archive a group if:
- It has any active contracts. Any active contracts must be moved to another group or ended.
- It is the only group in the organization. In order to archive the group, first create another one.
How to Archive a Group
✅ Step 1 – Select the group
Select the Organization Settings icon and click View on the Groups card.
The default view is all groups, so clients must select the individual group they want to edit or archive.
✅ Step 2 – Archive group
On the Group Details tab, click Archive Group. Archiving a group will remove all of the managers assigned to the group, and archive the group itself.
A group cannot be archived if there are any active contracts associated with it. Please ensure that all active contracts are either terminated, canceled, archived, or moved to another group.
How to Restore Archived Groups
To identify archived groups, go back to the groups list, where they will be tagged as Archived. To restore a group, click on the three vertical dots and select Restore group.
