As a Global Payroll direct employee, Deel does not manage your particular pay cycle or payment date.
The cut-off dates for payroll were manually chosen by your employer as part of the onboarding process. In the Global Payroll contract model, employers can choose when they want to approve payroll packages and pay their employees' salary.
After making payments, your employer will need to mark the payment as made in the Deel platform for the payroll cycle to be closed.
Any on-call hours worked in the current month can only be included in the upcoming payroll cycle if they are approved before the payroll cut-off date. If approved after the cut-off, they will be included in the next month's payroll cycle.
For example, if on-call hours were approved on March 23rd but the payroll cut-off in your organization is March 20, then the hours will not be included in the March payroll cycle, but instead in the next month April pay cycle.
