When you withdraw money on Deel, we use a Dynamic ETA to provide you the best possible estimate for when the money will reach your account.
You'll see your ETA and additional in-app updates from the Withdrawal Tracker, so you'll always be able to stay on top of your money until you receive it.
In this article:
When will my money arrive in my bank account?
What does Dynamic ETA mean?
The estimated withdrawal ETA will always depend on the withdrawal currency and the withdrawal method, as different methods have specific clearing times.
When you begin the withdrawal process, we use your withdrawal method, provider, and withdrawal currency to calculate both the estimated transfer speed and also the cut off time. This allows us to calculate the date when the money should be received by your bank.
Please note that most payment providers, especially banks, do not process payments on weekends and public holidays.

When will my money arrive in my bank account?
Withdrawals are expected to arrive on the date shown on the platform, but it may take an extra business day or two due to bank processing, compliance checks, and other factors.
To avoid delays, make sure your name and account number are correct before making a withdrawal.
If the information is incorrect, the bank may reject the payment and it may take 3-5 business days to get a refund.
Please note that Deel can't speed up the refund process, as it's controlled by the sending bank.

FAQs
[ACCORDION] What information is included as part of my withdrawal tracker?
The withdrawal tracker gives you a clear, easy-to-follow visual timeline of each stage of the payment lifecycle - from the second you click Withdraw to the moment the funds should have arrived in your bank account.
We use our dynamic ETA to calculate the best possible estimate for when the money will land in your account.
Our pre-calculated estimate will automatically update if there are banking holidays, unexpected delays or provider outages, or provider requests for additional information.
Please note that if there are errors in your destination or the withdrawal attempt is rejected by the bank, the tracker won’t be updated to reflect this until Deel actually receives the money back.
[ACCORDION] Can I cancel my withdrawal?
Once the withdrawal transfer has been processed by our provider, unfortunately we cannot cancel and refund the withdrawal.
However, if the account details are incorrect or the account is closed, please wait 3-5 business days for the transfer to bounce back from your bank.
Please note that we can't do much to speed up this refund process, since it all depends on your bank.
[ACCORDION] How do national holidays affect my withdrawal ETA?
Our Dynamic ETA and in-app Withdrawal Tracker will automatically account for national banking holidays in the estimated arrival time that we provide you.
In general, if there is a national holiday in the country of your bank or the country of an intermediary bank, the arrival time may be delayed by 1 or 2 business days.
Please note that most payment providers, especially banks, do not process payments on weekends and public holidays.
[ACCORDION] How can my bank trace my ACH withdrawal?
Deel gives you a Trace ID for US dollar withdrawals in the US.
This is a unique code to track your payment. You can find it in the withdrawal statement that you can download on our platform.
If your payment hasn't arrived on time, give this Trace ID bank to your bank. It helps them track the payment and investigate what's causing the delay.
If you haven't received your payment, download the withdrawal statement from our platform and give it to your bank. They'll help you from there.
[ACCORDION] How can my bank trace my SWIFT withdrawal?
Deel gives you a code, called UETR, to track your payment through the SWIFT network.
Unlike just a basic instruction (MT103), the UETR gives real-time updates so your bank always knows where the money is. The UETR is a better option than just an MT103 because it helps make the payment process more accurate and efficient.
You can find it under Withdrawal Details and also in your withdrawal statement.
Please provide the UETR code to your bank so they can track the payment and its status.
[ACCORDION] What does provider delay mean?
Our provider is experiencing a delay in processing your withdrawal. We've updated the expected arrival date on our platform to reflect its current status.
Our provider is working hard to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
You'll get a notification once your payment is processed.
[ACCORDION] What does additional checks mean?
When you withdraw your funds, our payment providers may run some extra checks to keep your money safe. It's a standard part of the process to make sure everything's on the up and up.
These checks might add a bit of extra time to your withdrawal, but it's worth it to make sure your funds stay secure.
We understand that you want to resolve this as quickly as possible, but unfortunately we can't speed things up on our end.
[ACCORDION] I still haven’t received the money and the estimated arrival date has passed. What should I do?
If your money hasn't arrived yet, first check your account. Make sure your name, account number, and other account details are correct.
Then download a PDF statement with the withdrawal details and send it to your bank. If the statement has a Trace ID, the bank can check it using this code.
If your account info is incorrect, the money will be refunded in 3 to 5 business days. Just keep in mind that Deel can't do much to speed up the refund process, since it all depends on your bank.
Unfortunately, Deel can't undo payments to crypto platforms or wallets.
If the estimated time of arrival as seen on your Withdrawal Tracker has already passed, schedule a time for a Deel support agent to call and review your delayed withdrawal with you.
Please have with you a bank statement between the dates you initiated the withdrawal until the last day of your ETA.
[ACCORDION] My bank rejected the payment but I haven't received the money back yet. What should I do?
If your bank rejected the payment and sent the money back to Deel, please wait 3-4 business days for the refund to show up in your Deel account.
If you still don't see the refund after 5 business days, reach out first to your bank for a written confirmation of the rejection. This will include details like the date, amount, reason, and transaction reference number. This information will help us investigate where the funds are.
Please note that Deel can't do much to speed up the refund process, since it all depends on your bank.
[ACCORDION] Why did my withdrawal fail?
The reason for the failure is usually provided on the platform if we receive one from the provider.
To ensure a smooth withdrawal process in the future, kindly keep your withdrawal information up to date.
