Types of contracts
We have designed 3 different contract types for independent contractors: Fixed rate, Pay as you go, and Milestone. Full-time employees can also be hired via Deel through our Employer of Record model.
Fixed
This is an ongoing contract used to pay contractors a set amount on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. It is ideal for long-term projects or an ongoing arrangement. This type of contract can be used for work of any scope.

Pay As You Go
This is an ongoing contract used to pay contractors based on the working days/hours they submitted. The client signs the contract and pays the invoice at the end of a week or a month. The amount invoiced is generated based on the total time a contractor or client submits. This type of contract can be used for work of any scope.

Milestone
This is a "one-time" contract where the client breaks down the project into milestones and assigns a rate to each of them. The money is released based on the approved work (milestone). This type of contract can be used for short-term projects of any scope.

Full-Time Employee
Our EOR model makes it easy to employ full-time employees without a local entity. To start, create a full-time contract quote in your Deel dashboard by clicking Create a contract> Full-Time employee.
