This article is for Direct Employees with employers that use HRIS integrations to support time off synching (like BambooHR).
If your employer does not have an HRIS integration installed please see: How do I request time off?

Does my Employer Use a Supported HRIS Integration?
If your employer has installed a supported time-off plugin, the usual workflow for requesting time-off on Deel will no longer be available to you.
Instead, you will see a message that identifies the HRIS platform used by your employer.
For instructions on how to make time-off requests in the HRIS platform, please refer to that platform's documentation.
How Does Synching Work?
Deel will only sync time-off in full days and half days. A full-day is eight hours or more. Any time-off request for less than eight hours will be counted by Deel as a half day.
Deel will only log a half day at the start or end of a time-off period. Deel cannot support half days in the middle of time-off period.
I logged a time-off request before the company I perform work for installed the integration. Do I need to resubmit it?
Please re-submit your time-off request on the HRIS platform. When Deel syncs with your platform, any inconsistency between the platform and Deel will trigger an email asking you to delete the time-off request you logged on Deel.
If your request on the HRIS platform matches your existing time-off request on Deel, then you won't need to do anything.
