This article explains how clients can view, download, and customize invoice reports.
There are two main invoice report types that can be instantly generated: Invoices Summary and All Invoice Items.
The Invoice Summary is a comprehensive and detailed breakdown of all invoices generated during the selected date range, while the All Invoice Items report shows all line items for the date range. In the current interface, the invoice line-items report is named Accounting.

How to Download Invoice Summary
Clients can view and download the invoice summary report, which is all invoices in Deel for the selected date range.
✅ Step 1 – Open Invoice Summary
In the left sidebar, select Analytics to expand the menu, then select Reports.
Find and open the Invoice summary report.
✅ Step 2 – Download
Select Export, choose CSV, XLSX, or PDF, and then select the final Export button to download the Invoice summary report.
Clients can further customize the report by selecting the date range, invoice status, and invoice type.
You can also customize the fields from the invoices table by using Configure columns.
Customize Invoices Summary Report
✅ Step 1 – Open Customize Report options
In the left sidebar, select Finance to expand its submenu, then select Pay.

On the Pay page, locate the Invoices table. In the filter row above the table, select Configure columns.

Select or clear the fields to include in the table, then click Save. Use Reset to restore the default selection if needed.

Reports can also be customized by selecting the date range, invoice status, and invoice type.
How to Download All Invoice Items
Clients can view and download the All Invoice Items report, which contains details of all line items in invoices for the selected date range. In the current interface, this report is called Accounting and is available in the Payments & Invoices report category.
✅ Step 1 – Open Invoice All Items
In the left sidebar, select Analytics to expand the menu, then select Reports.

Under Report categories, select Payments & Invoices.

Scroll through the filtered report list and select Accounting. Confirm that its description refers to invoice line items.

✅ Step 2 – Download
In the bottom-right corner of the report editor, select More (three dots) beside Run and Save, then select Export.

Select CSV, XLSX, or PDF, then select the final Export button to download the invoice line-items report.
Clients can further customize the report by selecting the date range or contractor/employee name.
They can also customize the fields by using Configure columns.

If the report shows No data to display in this selection, you can still select More > Export and choose an export format.
Customize All Invoices Line Item Report
✅ Step 1 – Open Customize Report options
To customize the invoice fields shown in the table, select Finance in the left sidebar, then select Pay.
On the Pay page, locate the Invoices table and select Configure columns in the filter row above the table.
Check or clear the fields to be included in the table, then click Save.
The line item report can be further customized by selecting the date range or contractor/employee name.

Clients can customize their Invoice Summary report to include only certain items, like expenses paid, deductions, bonuses, and more.
If the client wishes to view a report highlighting expenses, deductions, salary, or other payment items, they can generate a Payments Only report.
In the left sidebar, select Analytics, then select Reports, and click Detailed Payments Report.

[ACCORDION] How can clients get a customized report based on individual workers?
The "Total Payroll Summary" available in the Reports tab can be used to perform individual payroll analysis of a worker.
This report provides a breakdown of categories and information aggregated on the user(worker) level so that each unique row on the report represents a worker.
The Total Payroll Summary report has various category breakdowns within the cost per user in USD and the currencies users were paid in.
[ACCORDION] Can the invoice summary provide amounts in the currency the client used to pay them?
Instead of auto-converting totals to USD, the Invoice Summary Report will contain columns of invoice amounts in the currency that the client used to pay them. All amounts will be converted using the rate from the payment statement.
