How to Configure Time Tracking Approval Policies
✅ Step 1 – Go to the Organization Settings and Click on the Time Tracking Card
On the Time Tracking page, go to the Worked Hours Approval Policy Section.
✅ Step 2 – Click on Configure Approval Policies
You can configure a new Time Tracking Approval policy by clicking on Configure Approval Policies.
By default, there is also a predefined Time Tracking Approval policy available in the Worked Hours Approval Policy section.
✅ Step 3 – Enter Time Tracking Approval Policy Information
You can now name the new approval policy and describe it. Select the timesheet feature in the feature details.
✅ Step 4 – Select Policy Approvers
Clients can now select the Policy approvers within your organization and create levels of approval flow. They can also configure multiple approvers within a level.
In the Approver section, select the type of approver and their role in the organization. A Substitute approver can also be set, who may approve the submitted timesheet hours in the absence of the approver. Click on Finish.
✅ Step 4 – Set the Time Tracking Approval Policy
After configuring a Time Tracking Approval policy, return to the Time Tracking page by selecting the Time Tracking Card in Organization Settings.
In the Worked Hours Approval Policy section, click on Set. Select the new approval policy.
This will activate the new approval policy for upcoming approvals of worked hours.
