How to create a timesheet submission setup
✅ Step 1 - Navigate to the Organization Settings Icon and select the Time tracking card
In the Time tracking page, navigate to the Time submission methods and click on Create.
✅ Step 2 - Create a Time submission setup
A time submission method defines how a worker track and submit their worked hours.
Provide a name for the time submission setup and choose the worker type this setup will apply to.
Additonally, specify the countries where this time submission setup will be active.
✅ Step 3 - Choose the time submission method
Clients can choose one or more time submission methods for workers. The available methods are:
- Async Submission Method: This allows the workers to add their timesheet hours manually. With the Async submission method, workers can submit their worked hours at their convenience without strict time constraints.
- Clock-In Submission Method - This allows the workers to use the clock-in widget to log their hours in real-time. With the clock-in submission method, clients can ensure precise tracking of working hours through a clock-in and clock-out feature and ensure payroll accuracy.
Clients can also enable workers to edit their submitted clocked-in timesheet hours before final approval. Please note that edited clocked-in submission hours are highlighted for approval, displaying the changed and initially submitted times to help managers quickly check them.
